St. Paul's offers a program that caters to children ages 2 years to teenagers. This program is based on stories from the Bible. A typical morning has the children starting off in church to join in on the worship time. They also have a children's talk before leaving for their time together which includes singing, movies, stories, crafts, games and snacks.
There is also a pre-confirmation class for children in grade 7 and up who have not been confirmed. This class prepares them to go on to the confirmation classes. They follow their own agenda which is planned by their teacher. Throughout the year, all the children participate in skits, dances or other activities that they perform during the church service. This includes a Christmas pageant, Easter songs and other special services. Twice yearly, usually on a Saturday, (Christmas and Easter) the teachers organize a community outreach program. The themes are, "The Birth of Jesus" and "Jesus' Resurrection". There are games, mazes, face painting, crafts, music, prizes, treats and much more. We also offer a Friday night event once a month which could be a movie night, game night or baking night. Check the schedule of activities to see what is offered. We are constantly looking for new ideas and are always looking for new ways for our children to come to know the Lord on a personal basis. As Jesus said himself, "Let the little children come unto me." Matthew 19:14 Sunday School commences September 13th at 10:30 . A Corn roast will be held on September 20th. We celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas, and at Easter we remember His death and resurrection. This leads us to wonder what He did in the years between those times. In our adventure on March 28th, we visited different stations and learned a little bit more about Jesus’ life. • What did he do as a child?" • What were some of His miracles?" • What really happened to Him at Easter?" • Why did Jesus have to die?
